Minnie Rose is located in the heart of New York City’s fashion district. It was launched in 2006 by Lisa Shaller-Goldberg, who has an impeccable eye for what today’s women crave to wear in luxury fashion. Minnie Rose quickly became known for its signature cashmere duster and shawls.
For close to two decades, Minnie Rose founder and creative director Lisa Shaller-Goldberg has brought her innate fashion sensibility and business acumen to some of the defining lifestyle brands of this generation.
In 1993, not long after graduating FIT with a degree in business and textile technology, Lisa launched Simply Chic, a sales, marketing and branding agency representing such then-emerging lines as Earl Jean, Hard Candy, UGG Outerwear, True Religion and Juicy Couture. As Juicy Couture’s East Coast representative and the instrumental voice in its creative direction, Lisa spent more than a dozen years helping to create this global phenomenon. Now that Simply Chic was the top showroom in New York housing the hottest brands, Lisa set her sights on a new challenge – a line of her own. Lisa observed her customers were growing up, their style was evolving and there was a void in the industry. Recognizing this underserved woman Lisa launched the luxury knitwear brand in 2006, Minnie Rose, elegantly named after both of her grandmothers.
Today, the Minnie Rose collection consists of contemporary cashmere and cotton designs in addition to an assortment of effortlessly chic trend pieces. Lisa and her team are constantly creating versatile styles that include sumptuous cashmere and cotton designs as well as seasonally inspired styles.
